Greetings

"TRIAD" was completed in 2002 by Harmonic Drive Systems Inc., where founder Mitsumasa Ito served as representative.

It consists of three buildings: the art gallery "TRIAD IIDA-KAN," which exhibits the works of Yoshikuni Iida; the research annex "I・K KAN," which serves as a prototype for the production and measurement environment of Harmonic Drive Systems Inc.; and a "Guardhouse."

Harmonic Drive Systems Inc. is a group of highly trained engineers and skilled workforce thriving to provide total motion control solutions. We have been developing high-value-added products for applications in fields such as machine tool, automotive, aero astronautical, and medical.
In 2000, marking our 30th anniversary, we sought a new starting point to aim for even more creative and precise work for the next century. We believe that in order to pursue the highest precision in the fields of precision reducers and control systems, it is essential for engineers and skilled workers to have a strong will and rich sensibility. Wtih the wish to create a place where such strong will and rich sensibility can encounter, "TRIAD IIDA-KAN" was born.

"TRIAD IIDA-KAN" is an art gallery exhibiting the works of Yoshikuni Iida.
Iida is widely known as one of Japan's leading postwar innovative sculptors, and also for his unique poetry and sharp art criticism. However, his starting point as an artist was oil paintings. The core of our collection and exhibition at this museum is his paintings from the 1950s when Iida was young, and his 1983 sculpture "SCREEN-CANYON."

We would be delighted to share with you Iida's strong belief and sharp sensibility for creation, as well as the rich nature of the Northern Alps, at "TRIAD IIDA-KAN," located halfway up the expressive mountains of Hotaka. We warmly invite you to visit.
