"80 Years After the War: Yoshikuni Iida: Records of War and Music - From Battlefield Experiences to Drawing Orchestras"Exhibitiont

Yoshikuni Iida was drafted in December 1943 while attending Keio University Senior High School. Subsequently he was sent to China, where he fought in combat, and was demobilized in January 1946. This exhibition features valuable wartime and postwar materials from IIDA KAN's collection, including sketches and diaries he created during that time, as well as his postwar memoirs. It also features oil paintings on the theme of orchestras that Iida painted after enrolling at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Eighty years after the war, IIDA KAN focuses on Iida's wartime records.
